Yes Men

The Yes Men are a culture jamming activist duo and network of supporters created by Jacques Servin and Igor Vamos but supported by some 300 impostors worldwide who agree their way into the fortified compounds of commerce, ask questions, and then correct the identities through the use of satire and humour.

They have made two films to date The Yes Men 2003 and The Yes Men fix the world 2009.

You can watch a video about one of their The Yes Men – New York Times hoax here.

Think about the ideas behind their work, who do we make change and how can art contribute to changing the world. How can you use art to make changes in your world?

Visit the Culture Jamming link in the wiki resource to find out more about this activist practice.
